Good food. Good times.
Good friends. Good neighbors.
Residents enjoy delicious chef-prepared meals and fellowship with friends and neighbors in our vibrant community dining venues.
At Souderton Mennonite Homes residents have the option of dining in the Summit View Dining Room or the Apple Orchard Cafe. Residential Living residents are not required to participate in a meal plan, but can dine in whenever they chose. Simply make a reservation in the dining room or stop by the cafe whenever you'd like!
At Dock Woods residents have the option of dining the Hearthside Bistro or Christopher's restaurant. Hearthside Bistro serves three meals a day and Christopher's is open for dinner. A dining dollar plan is included in the monthly fee for apartment residents, and an optional plan is available for residents in the cottages and villas. Residents can use their dining dollars at either dining venue.
You won’t want to miss the seasonal banquets and special events, which are a combined effort of the dining services and life enrichment teams. These events feature a special, themed menu with live entertainment. Our residents’ annual favorites include Lobsterfest at Dock Woods and the Valentine’s Celebration at Souderton Mennonite Homes.
In addition, the dining services teams work together to perform live Chef’s Demonstrations three times a year. They create the food on stage, present residents with tips and a recipe card, and allow them to sample a treat. From crepes to flatbreads to pumpkin gnocchi, the demos are always a hit!
