Class Summary

Workforce and economic development are grounded in helping job seekers find jobs and job creators (employers) find talented and motivated workers. At the core of this equation is our youth and young adults (our grandchildren), trying to find their calling and hopefully attaining a family sustaining wage in today’s economy.  In this session, we will discuss ways our community can inspire young people to work while also brainstorming ways that businesses and non-profits can create work-based learning opportunities for young people.
