Class Summary

The Quadas Dulcimer Club will play a selection of Celtic and folk music. After each tune one of the members will give a brief description of one of the instruments, its unique features and history. The instruments we expect to cover include hammered dulcimer, mountain dulcimer, courting dulcimer, psaltery, autoharp, bodhran, limber jack, and tin whistle.

About the Instructor

Quadas formed in 2010, the second dulcimer club in southeastern Pennsylvania and the first to feature the hammered dulcimer. Although we are primarily an informal club of self taught Celtic music lovers that get together twice each month for a jam, we have played concerts throughout the Montgomery/Bucks County region and beyond.
