John W. Duerksen is executive vice president of commercial banking at Univest Bank and Trust Co. John earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Goshen College and has taken courses in RMA Leadership and Management. He also attended Pennsylvania Bankers Association School of Commercial Lending, and he graduated from the American Bankers Association Graduate School of Commercial Lending and Stonier Graduate School of Banking. John serves as board chair of the Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce, board chair of Living Branches, and is a past board member and current finance committee member for Dock Mennonite Academy. John and his family reside in Souderton and attend St. Maria Goretti Church.
