Sales Counselor (Senior Living)

As the sales counselor at Living Branches, you will cultivate relationships with prospective residents, family members, and referral sources to communicate the unique benefits of life at Living Branches. Reporting to the director of sales, the successful candidate will have strong interpersonal, customer service, and relationship-building skills. We are looking for an energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive person to help bring the Living Branches mission to life: Together we empower older adults and families to lead lives of purpose and joy, guided by the Mennonite tradition of care and service to others.
Sales Counselor Overview:
- Assume a leadership role in both pre-and post-reservation sales processes. Conduct deep discovery to understand prospect needs. Lead prospective residents and family members on guided tours. Respond to telephone inquiries, initiate and organize customer relationship management through events and experiential engagements, and more.
- Compassionately and confidently, educate prospects and families in Discover Living Branches events. Endorse the organization in positive way to the greater community. Seek opportunities to present information about Living Branches in a variety of organizations.
- Discuss financial requirements of residency with residents in a clear and compassionate manner
- Meet or exceed budgeted occupancy goals
- Work closely with members of the campus operations teams to facilitate resident move-ins and transfers. Collaborate with other team members to create the best possible outcomes for residents.
- Effectively use CRM software to manage the referral lead base by keeping current and accurate information; familiarity with Enquire preferred. Perform follow-up through phone calls, personal visits, notes, etc.
- Minimum two years of experience in relationship-based sales or customer service. (Long-term care sales experience preferred, new construction experience beneficial)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills. Proficient or accomplished at public speaking.
- Proficient in basic computer programs including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Microsoft Operating Systems. Applicants must be able to correspond appropriately and timely through email, phone, text messaging, or other forms of technical communication as needed to successfully complete the requirements for this job.

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications (preferred)
