Registered Nurse (RN)

Being a nurse at Living Branches is much more than providing care to our residents. Responsibilities:

  • The RN utilizes the nursing process, procedures and techniques to perform various duties such as assessing resident needs, developing individual care plans, administering nursing care, evaluating nursing care, and supervising and directing care provided by unlicensed nursing staff in the delivery of nursing care to render general health care within scope of practice
  • This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by others under their direction

Education Requirements:

  • Valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License
  • CPR certified

Experience Requirements:

  • 2-4 years nursing experience (Preferred)

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations and of regulations and guidelines governing long-term care
  • Strong managerial and communication skills to provide guidance and direction, set performance standards, monitor performance of subordinates and build trust among team members
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, has ability to prioritize work and to address emergencies as they may occur
