You Bring the Mission to Life

The Mission of Living Branches

Together we empower older adults and families to lead lives of purpose and joy, guided by the Mennonite tradition of care and service to others. This mission drives everything we do, every day – including supporting and growing our team members. Your success is our residents’ success!

Together We Empower

Every day at Living Branches, you’ll work with your team to create meaningful moments for residents – whether you’re pouring a cup of coffee, making a bed, leading a group activity, delivering mail, or providing medical care. We see and care for the whole person, treating each resident as the unique individual they are.

Team members are no different. As a Living Branches team member, you’ll be encouraged to share your ideas and feedback through surveys, focus groups, and more.

Together We Support

All team members are encouraged to take advantage of Living Branches benefits. Eligible team members have access to a health insurance and wellness program, including a dedicated wellness consultant, use of campus fitness centers, and confidential mental health support.

Beyond competitive pay and paid time off, team members can plan for the future with Living Branches’ generous 401(k) retirement plan that includes an employer match. Free financial planning services are also available through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP).

Work with Meaning

If you ask any of our team members about our mission and core values, you’ll see faces that light up with passion and commitment. You’ll likely hear personal accounts of  how our mission provides a fulfilling purpose to the work they do.

And while it’s always wonderful to hear our team members talk about their connection to our mission and core values, it’s even more inspiring to see them live that commitment in their daily interactions with residents. The words of our mission are brought to life with every act of kindness, with every enthusiastic idea for a new community activity, and with every shared moment of togetherness.

I feel blessed to be working on this wonderful team. I love the administration, our residents, and the community.

Nea Kim, Souderton Mennonite Homes

One of my favorite things to do is to help people find new friends. Just recently, I introduced a new resident to another wonderful lady in the dining room, and they really hit it off. I enjoy seeing people come together – and I love playing a role in making that happen.

Emma Schnabel, Souderton Mennonite Homes

We get a lot of great feedback on how clean Dock Woods is – and we are happy to play a role in the pride residents take in the beauty of their home. I also find joy in serving as a cheerleader for my teams. There’s a lot of repetition in what we do every day, and I believe that helping promote an atmosphere of thanks and recognition helps people feel good about what they’re doing.

Bob Mullen, Dock Woods

I love working for Living Branches. My supervisor is like a mentor to me – I love her caring attitude and how she helps to make sure I get everything I need.

Leyla Ainouz, Living Branches

I’m happy to go to work each day at Living Branches. Everyone cares for each other, and the professionalism and integrity are remarkable.

Susan Sciarratta, The Willows of Living Branches

Dock Woods is an absolutely wonderful community, and I sincerely feel like I belong in my position. The employees genuinely want to be here and care for the residents. It’s also very evident that management cares about the staff, and that can be unusual. The longevity of many employees says a lot about Dock Woods.

Angie Patrowich, Dock Woods

Living Branches really cares about their employees, and it shows. They take pride in keeping the community beautiful and hold true to the mission. Everyone is helpful and positive and seems to love their job.
