Church & Community Relations

“I am the vine, you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit.” John 15:5A

At Living Branches, we believe that lifelong learning is for all ages and includes a close connection between the church and the community. We are guided by our history and the faith traditions of the Mennonite church which are rooted in the example of Jesus’ teachings of care and service. Therefore, we are led to advocate on behalf of seniors for a life a joy and purpose for all. We wish to partner with those are who aging, pastors, caregivers, and those who walk with others.

We hold seminars for pastors and church leaders within the Indian Valley and North Penn communities throughout the year on topics that affect seniors, and we provide an Older Adults Month celebration guide for churches to use in their services during the month of May. We also help connect seniors (both residents of Living Branches and those living in the broader community) to spiritual organizations and church leaders who can support them.
