Class Summary

Learn why bats are vital to the health of our ecosystem, their natural history, species diversity, and how to protect our backyard bats. Meet some of our education bats and learn how Pennsylvania Bat Conservation and Rehabilitation saves native night protectors.

About the Instructor

Stephanie Stronsick volunteered at Project Wildlife in San Diego, where she helped initiate rescuing bats as part of their protocol, and the San Diego Natural History Museum as a collection data analyst and field assistant. She also worked as an associate field biologist for Bat Conservation and Management and established Pennsylvania Bat Conservation and Rehabilitation in 2012.
