Class Summary

This three-part course will cover the fascinating and colorful history of American presidential elections and those who have run for president. Learn how the system has changed over the years, how political parties have developed and affected presidential elections, how the process for nominating candidates has changed, and landmark presidential elections that shaped American history.

About the Instructor

David Hudiak has been a faculty member of Widener University’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute for the past five years, where he presents courses on American history and law. Mr. Hudiak is a member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars and two federal district court bars. Mr. Hudiak holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Haverford College and a juris doctorate from the Law School of the University of Pennsylvania.
