Class Summary

Care & Share Thrift Shoppes has been a vital part of our community since 1975. It was established to provide an income stream for Mennonite Central Committee’s (MCC) work with peace, relief, and development around the world. Care & Share also provides a local opportunity for goods to be donated and resold as well as a space to serve others. Everyone is needed to support Care & Share’s overall vision: “To make a difference in people’s lives in the name of Christ by becoming the thrift destination of choice.”

Join this session to discover Care & Share’s history as well as what the future holds for this local non-profit.

About the Instructor

Sarah Bergin has been Care & Share’s executive director for 16 years. Born and raised in Bucks and Montgomery Counties, she earned her “retail stripes” with different mall stores before becoming a full-time foster parent. When Care & Share advertised to fill the role of executive director, she felt God’s call to apply and hasn’t looked elsewhere since.
