J. Todd Alderfer, MD, FACC, is president, founding physician, and managing partner of Alderfer & Travis Cardiology, which was integrated into Grand View Hospital (GVH) in Sellersville in 2014. Dr. Alderfer has served on the Living Branches board of directors since the affiliation of Dock Woods Community and Souderton Mennonite Homes in November 2008. Prior to the affiliation, Dr. Alderfer served on the Souderton Mennonite Homes board of directors from October 1997 to September 2006 and from October 2007 to November 2008. Dr. Alderfer graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Medical School and completed a cardiology fellowship at Penn State – Hershey Medical Center. He holds leadership roles at GVH as chairman of medicine and chairman of pharmacy and therapeutics. Dr. Alderfer was also instrumental in the formation of the physician integrated delivery network, which became Grand View Health Partnership (GVHP). Dr. Alderfer serves on the board of GVHP and is chair of the specialist physician committee. He has served as assistant coach of varsity girls softball at Dock Mennonite Academy since 2019 and has completed over 50 marathons since 1996. Dr. Alderfer is a member of Blooming Glen Mennonite Church.
