Living Branches is looking for a Dietary Assistant to assist with mealtimes and ensure dietary policies and procedures are being followed. Whether you aspire to be a nurse one day or are looking to start in the Dining Services field, this is a great steppingstone! Diet Aide Overview:
- Assist in preparation and distribution of meals in accordance with established menus, sanitary practices, portion control procedures and dietary policies and procedures to residents.
- Responsible for taking meal and beverage orders and serving requested items to residents, guests and employees and may also be responsible for serving at banquets or other special events as necessary
- Responsible for table set-up, busing/clearing, cleaning and resetting tables
- Every other weekend and every other holiday hours required
- Experience providing quality customer services including needs assessment, meeting quality standards, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Working knowledge of sanitary practices relating to food handling is a plus
