Class Summary

In the Wonder of Birds, we will explore the habits, migration, nesting strategies, and other things that make birds special. From hummingbirds to hawks to owls, come learn how birds interact with their environment and their strategies for survival in a dangerous world. We will also explore efforts in conservation that can help to protect our bird populations.

About the Instructor

Diane Allison has been birding in Bucks County for nearly 45 years and has traveled internationally for birding. Diane has been the compiler for the Central Bucks Audubon Christmas Bird Count since 1999 and was the compiler for all of Bucks County for the Pennsylvania Migration Count from 1999 until its completion last year. She is a captain with Birdability, an advocacy group for more inclusive birding opportunities.
