Description

Class Summary

Discover the historic landscapes, ancient trees, and dazzling displays of native plants at Stoneleigh, one of the newest public gardens in the Philadelphia area. September at Stoneleigh boasts a plethora of brilliant colors, from brilliant yellows of goldenrods and sunflowers to striking purples and pinks of native asters. This guided tour of the gardens also includes a peek inside the spectacular Tudor Revival Main House. Formerly the home of three prominent Main Line families, this statuesque manor is now shared with the Organ Historical Society.

Please bring along a packed lunch and drink. Following the tour, we will eat lunch together in the pavilion before departing. This tour will occur rain or shine.
