Red-Tailed Hawk

Pamela will present her brand new program “Philadelphia Red-Tailed Hawks on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, 2009 – 2019.” She will share many interesting facts about this incredible bird of prey and present the dramatic saga of a female red-tailed hawk named Mom, her four mates, and 25 offspring over the course of a 10-year period. All of this took place in Philadelphia, and began in a nest on a window ledge of the Franklin Institute Museum of Science. This story is filled with love, excitement, laughter, adventure, and heartache. Pam will share photographs and videos featuring this famous urban red-tailed hawk family.
