Bible holybook

The problem of evil has troubled thoughtful men and women for the entire history of humanity. If there is a loving,
all-powerful God, how can evil exist? Does the reality of evil, suffering, and death mean that God doesn’t exist? This course will examine how various religions and cultures have grappled with the problem, comparing and contrasting their answers with those of Christianity. Our approach will be primarily philosophical, but we will look briefly at some ways in which these ideas can help us deal with our own very real suffering and heartache.
