Growing up in the 1960s and 70s in rural southeastern Pennsylvania, Dale Mohler witnessed several major weather events that prompted his interest in the weather. Dale graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in meteorology. He began working for AccuWeather in 1981, and helped start the AccuWeather international forecasting department.
