The campuses of Living Branches have over 600 volunteers, who are integral in connecting our communities, and providing strength to our residents, their families, and our neighbors. We promote volunteerism on a person-to-person level, or through the community at large. Our staff and residents participate in a wide variety of outreach activities, including:

  • Serving on the boards of local non-profits
  • Coordinating the BuxMont Alzheimer’s Walk
  • Offering support to local non-profits such as Manna on Main Street, Mennonite Central Committee, Liberty Ministries, North Penn United Way, and many more
  • Tutoring a student
  • Reading books at The Children’s Center
  • Delivering in-house mail throughout the building
  • Serving as a worship leader at Sunday services
  • Cashiering at one of our gift shops
  • Bringing friends who require wheelchair assistance to community events

To learn more about how you can get involved, please contact Lynne Allebach, Volunteer Coordinator, at 215-368-4438 ext. 42289.
